EUROPE 2005

Back from Europe and the shows went
very very well. Berlin, Szczecin, St. Petersburg, and Moscow all
went off without a hitch. While the St. Petersburg show was the
most "interactive", the others were equally as entertaining
for me.
Starting off with the "Consumer Electronics 6" show,
those guys were absolutely amazing! To say that they were professional
is an understatement! Everything was taken care of, they were
on the ball with everything, and the performances themselves by
all bands were top notch! Definitely the best show I was ever
a part of. A great THANK YOU to all the L. White/ Sektion B guys!
I only hope that I have that type of experience again when performing!
Quite honestly the "perfect" event! Thank you Peter,
and the rest of the guys!
In Szczecin, Poland, Dariusz was
awesome! A fantastic venue, a fantastic city, and the sound system
was as great as our surroundings! Chris and I loved to drink,
ogle the "beautiful people", and relax in a beautiful
college-town. Our first hotel there was incredible! A docked pleasure-boat
with a great bar, and unbelievable Receptionist! Good God! Thank
you Dariusz!!! I'm glad you got to get drunk "New York-style"
with us at that bar! We all got so trashed we lost each other
by the end of the night! Wouldn't have it any other way! Cheers!
In St. Petersburg, we had the most
"active" show of the tour, with chairs being thrown,
girls getting into the act, and me inadvertently attacking the
OWNER of the club! I think Chris even got hit with an ashtray...A
lot of people left soon after "Slogun" started, but
fuck them anyway! It was great! A great big "hello"
to the guy who wrestled with Chris on the ground, but with the
right attitude!!! We need more of that! The promoters were equally
as great! Renting us a great apartment near all the sights. What
a city to walk around in! If I stay away from vodka for the rest
of my life it'll be OK, that's how much of it we drank there!
Although I may have to have more of that "Honey-Vodka"
if I can find it!
Onto Moscow, and another big "Thank
you" goes out to Kirill and all the work he did for us! The
venue was awesome, the turnout was greater than we expected, and
he made sure we had everything we needed! What a PA system in
that place! Too bad the moron Nazi-crew showed up. That little
"uber-girl" is lucky we didn't haul off and smash her
face in. I guess some form of chivalry still exists, even among
us! Moscow was quite a dreary city in itself, and that's an understatement!
Here's to any city that makes New York look absolutely po'dunk!!
That place was a bit too much for me.
Well, I have to also thank everyone
who was with me, helped me, performed with me, etc. You know the
crew: THANK YOU to Sasha, Shane and Chris! Thank you to Thomas
and Addy (the true Golden Ray of Sunshine"!), Viesturs and
Lerry, Peter for actually coming to the show in Berlin, Steffen,
Stephane, Lash, Marco, Anna, Rene and Knute, the guys in St. Pete's,
Mikko, Erik, our "Finnish" friend from Moscow, and last
but certainly not least, Shane and I would like to thank those
two adorable girls we met outside the Moscow venue right before
the show started! Good Lord!
